The short version
This website sets no cookies and does not track you. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no marketing tool on it, so there is nothing to ask your permission for.
What is kept on your device
Whether you chose the light or the dark look for the site. It is kept in your own browser, in what is called local storage rather than a cookie. It never leaves your device and we never see it. Clearing your browser’s data for this site removes it.
If you sign in to the Sanctuary, your sign-in too, in the same place, so you stay signed in between visits. It is needed for your account to work, so it asks for no permission, and it is removed when you sign out.
Inside the Sanctuary, a few small preferences in the same place: how wide or narrow you like the menu, and that you already answered “how did this gathering feel?” so you are not asked twice. A journal page you have not yet kept stays in this browser window only, and is gone when you close it.
Nothing is loaded from anyone else
The typefaces are served from our own domain, so reading these pages does not contact Google or any other company.
When you leave this website
Some buttons take you to another company’s website to finish something:
- Calendly, to book a call or a class
- Stripe, to pay
- Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, if you follow a link to our pages there
Each of those sites sets its own cookies under its own policy, once you are on it. Nothing from them loads on our pages before you click.
Forms
When you send a form (a question, a seat request, joining the Sanctuary), what you type reaches Tima by email through a service called Web3Forms. No cookie is set. The Privacy Policy says what happens to it after that.
If this ever changes
If we ever add a tool to understand how the site is used, or to measure advertising, you will be asked first, before it runs. Refusing will be exactly as easy as accepting. Nothing will load until you have chosen, and you will be able to change your mind at any time from “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page. This notice will then name the tool, say what it collects and how long it is kept.
